SETS 3

If n(A)= 70 , n(B)= 90 and n(AnB)=30, find n(AuB).

Solution

n(AuB) = n(A) + n(B) - n(AnB)

            = 70 + 90 – 30

            = 160 – 30

            = 130

Hence n(AuB) = 130 answer

TRY THIS………….

If n(A)= 86 , n(B)= 94 and n(AnB)=78, find n(AuB).
