If n(A)= 50 , n(B)= 90 and n(AnB)=30,
find n(AuB).
Solution
n(AuB) = n(A) + n(B) - n(AnB)
= 50 + 90 – 30
= 140 – 30
= 110
Hence
n(AuB) = 110 answer
TRY THIS………….
If n(A)= 86 , n(B)= 90 and n(AnB)=78,
find n(AuB).
