Solution

5^2w (400^w) = 10

(5²)^w (400^w) = 10

(25)^w (400^w) = 10

(25 x 400)^w = 10

(10000)^w = 10

(10⁴)^w = 10

10^4w = 10¹ (Bases are alike, so they cancel out)

4w = 1

w = ¹/4
