Angle at the centre = 2 x (angle at the circumference)

= 2 x (y)

=2y

Angle 2y and 4y are opposite angles.

Therefore 2y + 4y = 360⁰ 

6y = 360⁰ 

6y = 360

y = 60⁰          

Hence y = 60⁰
