SETS 3

If n(A)= 62 , n(B)= 100 and n(AnB)=50, find n(AuB).

Solution

n(AuB) = n(A) + n(B) - n(AnB)

             = 62 + 100 – 50

             = 162– 50

             = 112

Hence n(AuB) = 112 answer

TRY THIS………….

If n(A)= 120 , n(B)= 188 and n(AnB)=95, find n(AuB).
