solution

x = k y …….. (i)       [we put =k to replace the proportionality sign⍺]

x=20, y=2, k=?

20 = k x 2        

20 =  2k        

¹⁰20 =    ¹2k

  ₁2           2₁        

k = 10.

Now k=10, y=13, x=?

x = k y

x = 10 x 13

x = 130.
