The LCM of 5, 7 and 2 is 70. So, we multiply by 70 throughout

70x 2w - 70(w-3) = w x 70

10 x 2w - 35(w-3) = w X 14

20w - 35w + 105 = 14w

-15w + 105 = 2w

105 = 2w + 15w

105 = 17w

105 = 17w

¹⁰⁵/17 = w

Hence w = 105/17
