Find the axis of symmetry for F(x) = 7x² - 50x + 7

Solution

a=7, b=-4

Axis of symmetry = -b/2a

                              =  -(-50)

                                  2 x 7

                              =    50

                                   14

                              =     25

                                     7

Hence the axis of symmetry is ²⁵/7
