GEOMETRY 3

If A and B are complementary angles such that A = 27° and B = x + 35° , find the value of x .

Solution

A + B = 900. [Since complementary angles add up to 900]

270 + x + 350 = 900.

x + 620 = 900.

x = 900 - 620

x = 280  answer.

TRY THIS..............................
