Find the perimeter of a regular polygon with 7 sides inscribed in a circle of radius 6cm.

Solution

P = 2nrSin(180⁰/n)

n= 7 sides and r=6cm

P = 2 x 7 x 6 x Sin(180⁰/7)

P = 84 x Sin25.71⁰

P = 84 x 0.4338

Hence P = 36.44cm
