Find the midpoint of a line from (13, 6) to (9, 10)

 

Solution

 

x1=13, x2=9, y1=6, y2=10.

 

Midpoint = (x1 + x2, y1 + y2)

                          2             2

 

Midpoint = (13 + 9, 6 + 10)

                          2          2

 

Midpoint = (22, 16)

                      2    2

 

Hence midpoint = (11, 6)
