Calculate the value of 3x + k + 80 + y , when x = 8, k = 10 and y =− 30 .

Solution

=3x + k + 80 + y

=3(8) + 10 + 80 + (-30)

=3(8) + 10 + 80 + (-30)

=24 + 10 + 80 – 30

= 34 – 50

= -16 answer
