If F(x) = log3x, Find F(1/2187)

Solution

F(x) = log2x

F(1/2187) = log3(1/2187)

F(1/2187) = log32187-1

F(1/2187) = log3(37)-1

F(1/2187) = log33(7 x -1)

F(1/2187) = log33-7

F(1/2187) = -7log33

F(1/2187) = -7 x 1

F(1/2187) = -7


Therefore F(1/2187) = -7
