SETS 2

If n(A)= 80 , n(B)= 100 and n(AnB)=50, find n(AuB).

Solution

n(AuB) = n(A) + n(B) - n(AnB)

             = 80 + 100 – 50

             = 180– 50

             = 130

Hence n(AuB) = 130 answer

TRY THIS………….

If n(A)= 136 , n(B)= 173 and n(AnB)=92, find n(AuB).
