If n(A)= 40 , n(B)= 90
and n(AnB)=30, find n(AuB).
Solution
n(AuB) = n(A) + n(B) -
n(AnB)
= 40 + 90 – 30
= 130 – 30
= 100
Hence n(AuB) = 100 answer
TRY THIS………………….
If n(A)= 120 , n(B)= 90
and n(AnB)=50, find n(AuB).
