Solution
n(AuB) = n(A) + n(B) - n(AnB)
170 =
n(A) + 60– 10
170 =
60 -10 + n(A)
170 =
50 + n(A)
170 -
50 = n(A)
120
= n(A)
Hence n(A) = 120 answer
