GEOMETRY 1

If A and B are complementary angles such that A = 29° and B = x + 25° , find the value of x .

Solution

A + B = 900. [Since complementary angles add up to 900]

290 + x + 250 = 900.

x + 540 = 900.

x = 900 - 540

x = 360  answer.
