CO-ORDINATE GEOMETRY - 2

Find the slope of a line which passes through (5,-8) and (-7,1)

Solution

x1=5, y1= -8, x2= -7 y2=1

m =  y2 –y1
        x2 – x1

m =  1 –(-8)
        -7 – 5

m =     93
         - 124

m =  - 3
           4

Hence the slope is 3/4

QUIZ
