Find the midpoint of a line from (31, 12) to (17, 10)

Solution

x1=31, x2=17, y1=12, y2=10.

Mid point = (x1 + x2, y1 + y2)

                         2             2

Mid point = (31 + 17,  12 + 10)

                        2            2

Mid point = (48, 22)

                     2    2

Hence midpoint = (24, 11)
