Find the midpoint of a line from (9, 4) to (5, 10)

Solution

x1=9, x2=5, y1=4, y2=10.

Mid point = (x1 + x2, y1 + y2)

                         2             2

Mid point = (9 + 5,  4 + 10)

                        2          2

Mid point = (14, 14)

                     2    2

Hence midpoint = (7, 7)
