If A and B are complementary angles such that A = 27° and B = x + 35° , find the value of x .

Solution

A + B = 90⁰. [Since complementary angles add up to 90⁰]

27⁰ + x + 35⁰ = 90⁰.

x + 62⁰ = 90⁰.

x = 90⁰ - 62⁰

x = 28⁰  answer.
