VOLUME 1


Calculate the volume of a square pyramid whose altitude is 30cm and length of side of a base is 9cm. (π=3.14)

Solution

Volume = 1/3(Base Area) x h

Volume = 1/3(9 x 9) x 30

Volume = 3 x 9 x 30

Hence Volume = 810cm3 .
