Find w in the following equation;

The LCM of 3, 7 and 2 is 42. So, we multiply by 42 throughout

42x 2w - 42(w-3) = w x 42

⁶42x 2w - ²¹42(w-3) = w x 42¹⁴

(6 x 2w) - 21(w-3) = (w X 14)

12w - 21w + 63 = 14w

-9w + 63 = 14w

63 = 14w + 9w

63 = 13w

63 = 13w

⁶³/13= w

Hence w = 63/13
