SETS 4

If n(A)= 130 , n(B)= 126 and n(AnB)=170, find n(AuB).

Solution

n(AuB) = n(A) + n(B) - n(AnB)

             = 130 + 126 – 170

             = 256 – 170

             = 86

Hence n(AuB) = 86 answer

TRY THIS………………..

If n(A)= 130 , n(B)= 120 and n(AnB)=140, find n(AuB).
