If F(x) = log2x, Find F(1/512)

Solution

F(x) = log2x

F(1/32) = log2(1/512)

F(1/32) = log2512-1

F(1/32) = log2(29)-1

F(1/32) = log22(9 x -1)

F(1/32) = log22-9

F(1/32) = -9log22

F(1/32) = -9 x 1

F(1/32) = -9

Therefore F(1/32) = -9
